Kent Family HubA private place for our family to care for Dad & Mom together
Kent Family Hub is a small, private website run by Mark Kent for the Kent family. It gives a group of brothers and sisters one secure place to keep track of the practical details of helping their aging parents, so everyone sees the same up-to-date information instead of piecing it together over phone calls and text messages.
What the site does
- Accounts: a list of our parents’ bank accounts and credit cards — just the bank name, last four digits, and what each account is used for.
- Income: where monthly income comes from, when it arrives, which account it goes into, and a running monthly total.
- Expenses: regular bills such as rent and utilities, with a monthly total and what’s left over.
- Needs & debts: one-time needs and back balances, how much has been paid, and which family member is handling each one.
- Info & questions: shared notes and open questions that family members can reply to.
- Activity log: who added or changed what, and when.
Who can use it
The site is not open to the public. There is no public sign-up — only family members personally invited by an administrator can create an account. Invited family members sign in with an email and password, or with “Sign in with Google”.
How Google sign-in is used
If a family member chooses “Sign in with Google”, the site receives only their name, email address and Google account ID, and uses them only to confirm they are the invited family member. The site does not access Gmail, Contacts, Drive, Calendar or any other Google data. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
